Heating Guidelines
Unpack and Refrigerate until Used

The Pie: 1:Turn the oven to full, carefully remove the pie from the foil and lay the foil onto the baking tray, into each foil place a dessert spoonful of cold water (bottled mineral water is nice), replace the pie into the foil, using water again apply a light film of water onto the the top of the pie bake the pies in the hottest part of the oven (top shelf) until piping hot (normally at 180c takes 10 to 12 minutes).
Alternatively
2: Remove the pie from the foil and place the pie with the top/flat side down(this will keep the pie crispy) and heat upside down in the microwave for approximately 2 minutes until piping hot leave to rest for one full minute before serving, longer for small children. In fact it is a good idea to cut the pie in 8 for small children.

The Mash: Most Pie'n'Eel shops cook the mash fresh daily, then heat it through the microwave, mashing at intervals until piping hot. After numerous requests we have on purpose left lumps in the mash, which can be mashed out. The mash comes in a microwaveable container place in microwave for 4 to 6 minutes mashing at intervals until piping hot leave to rest for one full minute before serving, longer for small children.
No microwave No Problem, heat the oven to full. Break the mash up placing in an oven proof dish and cover. Place in the oven until piping hot (normally at 180c takes 10 to 12 minutes)

The Liquor: The liquor comes in a microwaveable container place in microwave for 4 to 6 minutes stirring at intervals until piping hot. Be careful it does not boil over.
BEST TO: Empty liquor from container (which will be like a jelly) into saucepan on a low heat stirring at intervals until piping hot, the liquor in your order has been made on the thick side so please add boiling water from the kettle to a consistently that you like.

Stewed eels in Liquor: Very carefully empty liquor and eels from container (which will be like a jelly) into saucepan on a low heat stir carefully (DO NOT DAMAGE THE EELS) Add more Liquor from the extra in your order to make up the portion.

DO NOT LEAVE THE STOVE UNTIL ALL IS DONE
Place the Pie Eels and Mash onto a hot plate.
